dieses Wochenende findet endlich das „Hour of Devastation“ Pre-Release statt. Seit einigen Tagen sind auch alle Karten gespoilert, was uns zu einem kleinen Spiel bewogen hat, welches ich jetzt einfach mal die „Scrollrack – Hour of Devastation – Wette“ nenne (keine Bange, dies ist nur ein Arbeitstitel und falls uns für die kommenden Editionen etwas besseres einfällt werden wir das wohl überarbeiten). Doch was verbirgt sich dahinter? Jeder von uns erstellt eine Liste von 10 Rares oder Mythics aus Amonkhet und dem neuen Set Hour of Devastation, von denen er denkt, dass er sie aus seinem Pre-Release Pack zieht (nicht aus den Preis- oder Teilnahmeboostern). Diese Karten nummeriert er von 1-10 (ja ne, is klar!). Sollte einer von uns, eine der getippen, Karten ziehen, bekommt er Punkte und zwar einen Punkt für Platz 10, zwei Punkte für Platz 9, drei für Listenplatz 8, und so weiter und so fort …
Die Promo verdoppelt die Punktzahl und ist die getippte Karte eine Foil bekommt der glückliche Tipper einen Zusatzpunkt.
Die Teilnahme an mehreren Pre-Releases verdoppelt die Gewinnchancen (so wie beim Lotto).
Der Spieler mit den meisten Punkten gewinnt. Als Preis bekommt er, neben Ruhm und Anerkennung, den Preispool in den jeder von uns einen Booster aus irgendeiner Edition reinwirft. „The winner takes it all“ um hierbei nochmal ABBA zu zitieren.
